Mt Barney Lodge

Mt Barney Lodge is an eco-accredited retreat. It is the closest accommodation to World Heritage-listed Mt Barney National Park.

With a vast choice of accommodation options, including Queenslander Homesteads, cabins, deluxe camper trailers and camping.  Mt Barney Lodge also specializes in group and family bookings. 

Allow our experienced and qualified Outdoor Leaders can take you on an adventure!  Experience rock climbing, abseiling, or a kid’s night adventure. However, you can simply immerse yourself in nature and romance.  For instance, relax by the creek frontage or venture on a bush walk starting from the Lodge.

All accommodation options allow you to self-cater, or we can cater to group bookings.

Only 90 minutes from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, visit our Eco Lodge and stay in a Queenslander homestead, cabin, or camp in our onsite glamping venue or spacious campground. Our property has creek frontage, campfires and spectacular mountain views!

The main point of difference about our campground to others, is that we try and create an eco and wilderness experience for guests.  We do this by limiting the number of campers to only 100 people. That means that there are only ever about 25 tents on our extensive campground at any one time, and about 1/3 of our campground is unoccupied when we are “full”.

We also achieve the quiet experience by not allowing generators or pets onsite. We think the sounds of nature should dominate the experience.
