O’Reilly’s Campground is a new world class ecotourism attraction set out amongst the pristine rainforest of Lamington National Park – which in turn is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.

Stunning vistas and mesmerising sunsets await you at this incredible rejuvenated space -featuring 17 powered safari tents – 2 with disabled access, 24 campsites featuring Altitude and Basecamp sites, 4 Bushwalkers campsites and 21 campervan/camper trailer sites with powered sites available.

There’s also a open space communal camp kitchen with beautiful views overlooking the McPherson Range, a fire-pit and gathering area, an amenities building and a meeting room know as ‘The Hub’ – with pathways and ramping to enable accessibility for all guests.

It’s right on the doorstep of O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, meaning you’ll have access to all the same experiences and adventures you know and love about O’Reilly’s and Lamington – with new ones just waiting to be discovered.

Did you know: The campground was originally cleared in 1911 by the O’Reilly family and used as a cattle grazing property until it became a National Parks campground (Green Mountain Campground) in the 1970’s.

It faces west towards an old volcanic plug, Mt Lindesay which is part of the McPherson Range – an extensive mountain range which forms part of the Scenic Rim on the border between Queensland and New South Wales.

The tables in the kitchen are made of old hardwood tent numbers from the original campground. The new numbering bollards and decking are made entirely from recycled plastic materials from within Australia and are a sustainable alternative to using new materials.
